One way to manage pests is to use the exclusion method. This is pest-proofing your the environment. Make sure your environment does not welcome the pest but shuts them out. There are two types of exclusion. Mechanical Exclusion and Exclusion by regulation.  Mechanical Exclusion are methods such as fences, lights, and noisemakers that eliminate pests. Exclusion by regulation is when the area is quarantined which eliminates the pest from transferring from one area to another.

Another way to manage pests is Cultural control. A pest is less likely to entertain a healthy environment.  Make sure the area is healthy.  Finally, chemical control is a common way to eliminate pests.  Chemicals have been an effective way to eliminate pests for a long time. There are many pesticides that can kill pests and then there are those that just keep them away. Pest prevention services need to be rendered in order to keep pests away.
